Cub Scout Leaders may elect to take their leader specific training online. It is the same course as an instructor led course and will count as the leader being trained.
Additional e-learning courses
are available online at www.myscouting.org. Supplemental training courses are offered online, as
district
courses, or as council led courses.
In addition, units who camp must
have at least one adult ON THE CAMPOUT, who has taken the Weather Hazards
Course online. Cub Scout
units are required to have at least one BALOO trained
leader on every campout OR outdoor
activity! Depending on the activity a unit is
planning, additional training may
be required by the Boy Scouts of America.
